The Kandy Society of Medicine (KSM) proudly organized the celebration of the Thaipongal Festival 2026 at the Kandy Cancer Home, bringing together invitees, well wishers, and members of the community.
The event was graciously facilitated by Mr. Mohan Samarkoon, Secretary of the Sri Lanka Cancer Society – Kandy Branch, along with dedicated members of the society. Under the leadership of Dr. Krishnapradeep and Dr. Senthil Chandrasekaram, the organizing team ensured that the festival was conducted in a beautiful and meaningful manner.
Guests and participants enjoyed the spirit of togetherness and cultural tradition, highlighted by the serving of authentic and delicious Pongal food, prepared in keeping with age old customs. The celebration not only honored tradition but also fostered unity, joy, and compassion among all who attended.
